Azerbaijan declares imports of about 209M cubic meters of gas from Turkmenistan in January-February

Gas imports to Azerbaijan in January-February 2024 amounted to 208.866 million cubic meters, which is 67.5% lower than in the same period last year, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.

These are the volumes registered (declared) by the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

According to statistical data, the cost of gas imported to Azerbaijan in January-February 2024 amounted to $31.329 million (a decline of 72%).

The entire volume of gas imports in the reporting period came from Turkmenistan (growth in quantitative terms by 2.4 times, in value terms by 2.5 times).
