Azerbaijan announces volume of marketable gas reserves

In January-June 2021, the volume of the marketable gas reserves in Azerbaijan amounted to 17,409,900,000 cubic meters (including the reserves as of early 2021), Report mentions, citing the State Statistical Committee.
62.2% of natural gas consumed in the country was used for production needs, and 37.8% was sold to the population.
In January-June this year, 8,992,200,000 cubic meters were exported, up 35.1% from 2020.
The population consumed 2,360,300,000 cubic meters, up 6.7% from the previous year.
