2 countries resume purchases of jet fuel from Azerbaijan

In January-June 2022, 33,438 tons of aviation fuel worth $29.524 million were sent from Azerbaijan abroad.

According to Report’s calculations based on the data of the State Statistics Committee, this is 4.2 times more in value terms and 2.3 times more in quantitative terms than in the same period last year.

During the reporting period, 19,000 tons (+2.2 times) were sold to Luxembourg for $15.762 million (+4.4 times), 3,547 tons (+3.4 times) were sold to Turkiye for $3.486 million (+ 4.4 times), to Russia - 2,955 tons (+8 times) for $2.946 million (+10.4 times), to the UAE - 1,330 tons (+23 times) for $1.319 million (+30 times).

Deliveries to Iran resumed after a year and three months, to Iraq - after a year and two months. Some 23.78 tons of aviation fuel for $28,170 and 9.02 tons for $8,500 were sold to these countries, respectively.
