Seismic station under construction in Shusha

Tehchnical work for the installation of the well-bottom seismic station donated by Türkiye’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) to the Republic Seismological Service Center (RSSC) under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) is underway, Report informs.

In this regard, Telman Jafarov, head of the International Relations Department of the RSSC, visited Shusha.

Currently, the drilling process where the substation will be located is ongoing. The Shusha seismic station is expected to be commissioned by the end of this year.
