Russia planning to launch spacecraft beyond solar system

Russian space specialists are developing a project to explore interstellar space and fly a spacecraft outside the solar system, the General Director of the Keldysh Center, part of Roscosmos, Vladimir Koshlakov, said, Report informs via Izvestiya.
“Now a project to explore interstellar space is under development, and a space experiment is being prepared with the flight of a spacecraft beyond the solar system,” he said.
Koshlakov assured that the spacecraft will be equipped with the world's most powerful plasma engine developed at the Keldysh Center. He added that the device will be able to work for many years.
