Rector: UNEC becomes first digital university in region

Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) is becoming the first university in the region to implement the digital university model, University rector Adalat Muradov told an event dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the university, Report informs.

"UNEC is a university with a special history. There is no other university in the Azerbaijani higher education system that has gone through such a difficult path," the rector said.

According to Muradov, today the university is actively working on integrating artificial intelligence into the educational process and scientific research. He also emphasized that, according to the latest QS World University Rankings, UNEC was ranked between 801 and 850, while a year earlier it was in the range of 1001-1200.
