Ramiz Mehdiyev resigns

President of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) Ramiz Mehdiyev has resigned, Director of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS Misir Mardanov told Report.
The press service of ANAS is expected to make a detailed statement on the issue.
It should be noted that 84-year-old Ramiz Mehdiyev has been the president of ANAS since October 23, 2019.
