Ministry official: There is sharp decrease in COVID incidence, and student attendance improved

Currently, the situation with the pandemic in Azerbaijani schools is stable. In the last two weeks, there has been a sharp decline in the number of infections, an official at the Education Ministry of Azerbaijan Fuad Garayev told Report.

According to Fuad Garayev, due to this, the attendance of students has improved compared to previous periods:

“I think that the number of infections will soon reach such a level that there will be no disruptions in the teaching process.”

Speaking about the vaccination of educators, Garayev said that every teacher understands their responsibility:

“Teachers know that they communicate directly with students, and they are exemplary people in the society. Therefore, our teachers are actively involved in the vaccination process.”
