BP is negotiating with the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan on the implementation of a double degree program in renewable energy, BP Vice President for External Relations and Communications in the Caspian Region Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli said at a panel discussion on the “University-Industry Partnership” topic during the Education Development Forum, Report informs.
According to Aslanbayli, education in the field of renewable energy is currently not developed in Azerbaijan.
Considering that the future of the energy industry, along with oil and gas engineering, is also associated with renewable energy, we must pay attention to training specialists today, Aslanbayli said.
The Education Development Forum, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev, is being held in Baku. The event is organized jointly by the Ministry of Science and Education and the Education Development Fund.
