Deputy Minister: Armenians destroyed 14 schools in Khojaly

Armenians have destroyed 14 schools in Khojaly, Deputy Education Minister of Azerbaijan Firudin Gurbanov said at an event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide at Khojaly Secondary School No. 2 in Ramana settlement of Baku, Report informs.

“Every year on February 26, we feel a great sorrow. Unfortunately, all the infrastructure in Khojaly has been destroyed. There were 14 schools there, all of which have been destroyed. Our graves and historical monuments have been demolished. All this shows their inner face and intention,” Gurbanov said.

“When entering this school, I think why Khojaly and Shusha schools should be in Baku. Today, the Armenian Church is being preserved in the center of Baku. But, schools in Khojaly were destroyed,” the deputy minister added.
