Report informs, list of the candidates for the ANAS active membership includes Deputy Chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission Vali Huseynov (Doctor of Physics), Rector of the Moscow State University Baku branch, Department Chief of the Baku State University Nargiz Pashayeva (Doctor of Philology), Director of the Ataturk Center Nizami Jafarov (Doctor of Philology), Director of the Institute of Linguistics Mohsun Naghisoylu (Doctor of Philology), Director of the Institute of History Yagub Mahmudov (Doctor of History), Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies Govhar Bakhshaliyeva (Doctor of Philology).

Director of the National Ophthalmology Center Elmar Gasimov (Doctor of Medicine), Chairwoman of the Azerbaijan Union of Composers Firangiz Alizade (Doctor of Art Criticism), Director of the Institute of Caucasian Studies Musa Gasimli (Doctor of Historical Sciences) and others nominated for the corresponding membership.
