Branches of Azerbaijani universities may be opened in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan is interested in opening branches of Azerbaijani universities in the country, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan, Bahrom Ashrafkhanov, told journalists, Report informs.
"We invite Azerbaijani universities to Uzbekistan to consider opening branches or joint ventures not only in Tashkent but also in other cities - Samarkand, Bukhara. I have visited many universities both in Baku and Ganja and met with their management. Azerbaijani universities have very good experience and valuable personnel," he noted.
According to the ambassador, representatives of the scientific community of both countries agree on closer cooperation: "This means exchange of students, professors and joint research."
