A memorandum of understanding on cooperation has been signed between Azerbaijan’s Baku State University (BSU) and Islamabad Foundation University of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the BSU told Report.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev noted that strengthening international cooperation is one of the main directions of the university's development strategy.
He stated that the memorandum signed with Islamabad Foundation University, one of Pakistan's prestigious higher education institutions, will contribute to expanding scientific research cooperation between universities, academic exchange programs, and implementing joint innovative projects.
The MoU includes broad-spectrum cooperation between the two universities. The document provides for joint projects, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposiums, short-term courses, trainings, and conducting joint scientific research.
Issues such as joint publications in scientific journals, development of common academic programs, conducting trainings, and exchange of academic and administrative staff, students, master's students, doctoral students and researchers are also reflected in the memorandum.
The memorandum was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and Muhammad Kaleem Asif, Rector of Islamabad Foundation University.
