Baku hosts EducationUSA Alumni Fair

The US Embassy in Baku, in collaboration with American Councils for International Education, has held the EducationUSA Alumni Fair.

Report informs that the event featured representatives from more than 35 US universities along with US Embassy exchange programs.

Charge d'Affaires Hugo Guevara delivered opening remarks.

In recent years, the number of Azerbaijanis studying in the US has increased significantly. During the 2022-2023 academic year, 901 Azerbaijani students studied at US higher education institutions, an increase of almost 25% compared to the year before and a 62% increase in the post-pandemic period.
