Azerbaijan, UK's Warwick University expand renewable energy program

Azerbaijan and the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom are developing a joint academic program in the field of renewable energy, Report informs.

Speaking at the Eurasian Universities Summit in Baku, Gareth Roberts, Director of Strategic Development at Warwick, highlighted the partnership with Azerbaijan's Ministry of Science and Education and the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

"We're especially proud of our dual-degree program in renewable energy developed in collaboration with ASOIU," Roberts said.

He emphasized that the success of such initiatives depends on coordination and equality among partners.

"It's important to avoid imbalance and allow each side to contribute from their areas of strength. The UK has advanced expertise in renewable energy, while Baku holds deep knowledge of the energy sector. The goal is to merge these strengths," he added.
