Azerbaijan and Turkey are developing education curriculums on 4 specialities, the Education Ministry told Report.

An online meeting was held between the Turkish General Directorate of Vocational Education and the State Agency for Vocational Education within the "Protocol on cooperation in the field of vocational education between the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the government of the Republic of Turkey."

Under the protocol signed during the meeting, the development of education curriculums and plans in 4 specialities was discussed.

Thus, within the framework of joint cooperation, it is planned to organize training on 4 specialities covering the furniture industry, tourism, and public catering, as well as ICT. In addition, work has begun to adapt educational plans based on the Turkish experience to local conditions.

The educational programs on the 4 specialities to be developed within the framework of the protocol are expected to be applied to vocational education institutions in Baku and Gabala.

The protocol includes the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the field of vocational education and the study of the Turkish experience in this sector.
