Azerbaijan plans to open medical faculty at Karabakh University

Opening of medical faculty is planned at Azerbaijan’s Karabakh University, Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev said at a press briefing on February 6, Report informs.
The faculty is set to open in the next academic year.
The minister mentioned that efforts are underway to establish the medical faculty based at the hospital in Khankandi.
Amrullayev also noted that the university currently has 1,100 students. "In the next stage, education for 1,500 students is planned. In the coming years, there will be 10,000-12,000 students," he stated.
