Azerbaijan celebrates Wind Tuesday of Novruz

Azerbaijan celebrates Wind Tuesday, the third of four Tuesdays, in the run-up to the Novruz spring holiday.

The Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) told Report that according to beliefs, the Wind Tuesday informs people about the warming of the weather. The snow and ice melt, the ground revives.

Earth Tuesday, the last Tuesdays of Novruz Holiday, will be marked on March 17.

Notably, March 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 will be nonworking in the country this year due to the Novruz holiday. Since March 21 and 22 falls on Saturday and Sunday, March 25 and 26 will also be nonworking.
