Azerbaijan among countries showing greatest interest in Turkiye Burslari

Azerbaijan is among the countries showing the greatest interest in Turkiye's Turkiye Burslari scholarship programs, Report informs referring to the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB).

"Many Azerbaijani students show a desire to study in Turkiye and, as a rule, they apply for a scholarship. Turkiye has a Turkiye Burslari scholarship program. Great interest in studying in Turkiye is linked to the fact that it is close to Azerbaijani students both geographically and in terms of language and culture," said YTB.

The organization noted that representatives of Afghanistan win the scholarship the most. Every year, on average, 165,000 applications for free education in Turkiye are received from all over the world, and only about 5,000 students get approval.

Turkiye Burslari, an international scholarship program funded by the Turkish government, is the largest Turkish scholarship program for international students.
