Active meteor shower expected from September 5 to 21

There will be an active meteor shower from September 5 to 21, according to the Department of Astrophysics of the Physics Faculty of Baku State University, Report informs.

The September ε-Perseid meteor shower will be active from September 5 to September 21, producing its peak rate of meteors around September 9.

As seen from Baku, the meteor shower will appear on the eastern side of the horizon every night around 07:30 pm (GMT+4) and will remain active from 05:45 am until dawn. The shower is likely produce its best displays around 05:00 am, when its radiant point is highest in the sky.
