3 more faculties planned to be opened at Karabakh University in 2026

More than 1,100 first-year students study at Karabakh University, and 200 employees work there, Rector Shahin Bayramov said at the 7th ADA Political Forum themed "Towards a New World Order" held at the university on April 8, Report informs.

According to Bayramov, the main mission of Karabakh University is to create a center for education, research, and innovation:

"Everyone here is working towards this goal. We see great attention from our friends and direct support from the head of state. This has allowed us to welcome our students in a very short time. We started the first year with good results because we set out with a very good idea. Currently, there are more than 1,100 first-year students at the university. About 200 employees work here."

Bayramov said that there are currently five faculties at Karabakh University:

"We plan to open the Faculty of Agriculture in 2026. The same year, it is also planned to open the faculties of Arts and Tourism in Khankandi."
