Weather to change drastically in Azerbaijan, snow, frost expected - WARNING

From the evening of December 19 to the morning of the 21 in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the weather conditions will change sharply for a short period, the northwest wind will be 15-20 m/s, occasionally 23-28 m/s, and reach 30-33 m/s in some parts of the peninsula, the National Hydrometeorology Service told Report.

The temperature will be +2 - +5 C at night and during the day.

According to the information, from the night of December 19 to 20, starting from the northern and western regions until the daytime of the December 21, the weather conditions in the country will change sharply for a short time. It will occasionally rain and snow in mountainous and foothill regions and intensify in some places.

The west wind will occasionally increase to 15-20 m/s, and in some places, up to 25-30 m/s.

The temperature will be -10 - -15 C at night, -3 - -8 C in the daytime, and close to 0 C in the middle regions at night.

Roads in mountainous and foothill regions will be covered with ice, and fog is expected.
