Weather forecast for holiday announced

Weather forecast for March 20 in Azerbaijan has been announced.

Report informs citing the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources that the weather will be occasionally rainy in Baku and Absheron peninsula on March 20.

It will be intensive in some places of the peninsula. Mild north western wind will blow.

Drizzle is predicted in some places in the morning. Rain is expected in the evening. North-west wind will intensify at times.

Temperature will be +4 +6 at night, +7 +9 in the daytime in Baku and Absheron peninsula. Atmospheric pressure will rise from 762 to 768 mm mercury column; relative humidity will be 80-90%.

Precipitation is expected in some regions of Azerbaijan tomorrow, snow is predicted in mountainous and foothill regions. It will be intensive in some places. Precipitations will die down gradually starting from western regions. Fog will be observed in some places at night and in the morning. Western wind will intensify in some places at times.

Temperature will be +4 +7 at night, +9 +14 C in the daytime, in mountains 0-5 degrees of frost at night and +2+6 C in the daytime.

As for the medical-meteorological forecast, although rainy and moderately windy weather is expected in the Absheron peninsula on March 20, we hope that this will not affect festive mood of the population”, the ministry reported.
