Report informs citing National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources that in December, the average monthly temperature is expected to be close to the climatic norm, some places will experience the temperature below the norm as a result of penetrating arctic air masses to the country Monthly precipitation is expected to be close to the climatic norm, while it will be slightly above in some regions.

The weather will be unstable, rainy and snow and sleet are expected in mountainous regions and foothill in the first half of the first decade.

In Baku and the Absheron peninsula

The average monthly temperature is predicted to be 5-7˚C (3-8 at night, close to 0˚C in some days, 8-13˚C in the daytime, 3-6˚C in some days), which is close to the climatic norm.

Monthly precipitation is expected to be close to the climatic norm and a little higher in some places (norm 24-34 mm).

In Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic

The average monthly temperature is expected to be 0 -5 degrees (- 2 +3 at night, -12-17 C in some days, 5-10 C in the daytime and 0-5 C in some days), which is close to the climatic norm and slightly lower.

Monthly precipitation is expected to be close to the climatic norm (norm 14-35 mm).

Upper Karabakh: Khankandi, Shusha, Khojali, Khojavand, Gubadli, Zangilan, Lachin, Kalbajar, Dashkasan and Gadabay districts

The average monthly temperature is expected to be 1-4 degrees (0 - 5 at night, 7-10 degrees in some days, 2-7 degrees in the daytime, 0-5 degrees Celsius in some days), which is close to the climatic norm.

Monthly precipitation is close to the climatic norm (norm 27-53 mm)

In Gazakh, Ganja, Goranboy, Ter-Tar, Agdam, Fuzuli, Jabrayil regions

Average monthly temperature is predicted to be 1-4 degrees C at night (- 1 degrees +4 degrees , -4-6 degrees in some days, 6-11 C in the daytime and 1-3 degrees in some days), which is close to the climatic norm and 1 degree lower.

Monthly precipitation is expected to be close to the climatic norm (13-32 mm).

In Balakan, Zagatala, Gakh, Sheki, Oghuz, Gabala, Ismayilli, Agsu, Shamakhi, Khizi, Siyazan, Shabran, Guba, Gusar, Khachmaz regions

The average monthly temperature is expected to be 1-4 C at night (-3+2 C at night, 5-10 C in some days, - 15 -20 C in high mountainous areas, 5-10 in the daytime, - 3+ 2 C in some days) which is close to the climatic norm.

Monthly precipitation is expected to be close to the climatic norm and slightly higher in some areas (norm 24-48 mm).

In Central-Aran: Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Goychay, Agdash, Kurdamir, Imishli, Agjabedi, Beylagan, Sabirabad, Bilasuvar, Saatli, Shirvan, Hajigabul, Salyan, Neftchala

Average monthly temperature is predicted to be 2-6 degrees (1-6 degrees at night, - 1 -5 in some days, 6-11 in the daytime, 14 degrees in some days), which is close to and below the climatic norm.

Monthly precipitaion is expected to be close to the climatic norm (norm 16-32 mm).

In Masalli, Yardimli, Lerik, Lankaran, Astara regions

The average monthly temperature is predicted to be 3-6 C at night (1-6 C at night, 1-4 C in some days, - 5-10 C in the mountains, 6-10 in daytime and 13 C in some days), which is close to the climatic norm and slightly lower.

Monthly precipitation is expected to be close to the climatic norm and slightly higher in some places (norm 45-106 mm).
