From the evening of August 29 to the morning of August 30, the northwest wind is expected to increase to 15-18 m/s and occasionally to 20-23 m/s in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, Report informs, referring to the National Hydrometeorological Service.
The weather conditions will be unstable in the northern and western districts of the country from the morning of August 29 to the evening of August 30, as it will rain occasionally. Heavy rains are possible in some areas, and lightning and hail are expected.
The east wind will occasionally increase to 20-25 m/s in some places.
Water levels in rivers will increase, and short-term floods are expected in some mountainous rivers.
