Torrential rain, river flooding expected - WARNING

Baku. 12 November. REPORT.AZ/ Weather forecast for tomorrow in Azerbaijan has been announced.

Report informs citing the National Hydro Meteorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources that on November 14 the weather in Baku and Absheron peninsula will be changeable cloudy, occasionally gloomy and mainly rainless. Rain is expected in some places at night and in the morning. Mild north-east wind will blow.

The temperature will be 7-9 C at night, 11-13 C in Baku and Absheron peninsula.

Atmospheric pressure will be above normal 773 mm mercury column; relative humidity will be 85-95%.

Intermittent rain is expected in some regions of Azerbaijan on November 13, snow in mountainous areas.

It will be intensive in Lankaran-Astara zone. Rain will die down in the daytime. East wind will blow.

The temperature will be 5-9 C at night, 9-13 C in the daytime, in mountains 0-5 degrees of frost at night and 2-6 C in the daytime.

According to the medical-meteorological forecast, while the normal daily course of meteorological factors in the Absheron peninsula is favorable for meteo sensitive people, some people may experience anxiety due to the high humidity in the air.

The National Hydrometeorology Department warns that unstable weather conditions in the country will continue until November 15. Intermittent rain is expected in some places, snow in the mountainous areas.It is likely to be intensive in Lankaran-Astara zone.In some rivers of the Lankaran-Astara zone, water level is expected to increase, short-term floods are predicted.
