Temperature to drop by 5-8 degrees - WARNING

Baku. 28 November. REPORT.AZ/ The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources has issued warning about the weather conditions.

Report informs citing the National Hydro Meteorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources that from November 29 afternoon strong north-west wind will blow in Baku and Absheron peninsula until November 30 daytime. The air temperature will drop by 5-8 degrees in comparison with the previous days.

The weather  is expected to be unstable in the regions of Azerbaijan from November 30 to December 2, rainfall, snow is predicted in mountainous regions. The rain will intensify in some places.

From November 29 daytime strong north-west wind will blow in Baku and Absheron peninsula until November 30 daytime. It will intensify in some places at times. The air temperature will drop by 5-8 degrees in comparison with the previous days. The water level will increase in rivers, short-term floods predicted in Lankaran-Astara region.

According to the medical-meteorological forecast, strong north wind is expected amid significant increase in atmospheric pressure on the Absheron peninsula from November 29 afternoon to November 30 noon, which is unfavorable for meteo-sensitive people.
