Strong winds to prevail in Azerbaijan beginning from tomorrow

Baku. 15 December. REPORT.AZ/ Weather forecast for Sunday in Azerbaijan has been announced.

Report informs citing the National Hydro Meteorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources that the weather in Baku and Absheron peninsula will be changeable cloudy, occasionally gloomy and mainly rainless on December 19. But drizzle is possible close to the evening. Fog is expected in some areas at night and in the morning. Mild southwest wind will be occasionally replaced by the northwestern wind in the daytime.

The temperature on the peninsula will be 5-7 C at night, 8-10 C in the daytime, in Baku and Absheron peninsula 5-7 C at night, 8-10 C in the daytime.

Atmospheric pressure will rise from 768 mm to 773 mm mercury column. Relative humidity will be 70-80%.

Moreover, northwest wind will occasionally intensify in Baku and Absheron peninsula from December 16 afternoon until December 17 afternoon, the weather is expected to drop, on December 17 the maximal temperature will make 5-7 C with occasional drizzle expected in some places in the daytime. On December 18, the rain will intensify in some places.

The weather in Azerbaijani regions on December 16 will be mainly rainless but beginning afternoon occasional rain is expected in some of the northern and eastern regions. Fog is expected in some places at night and in the daytime. West wind will occasionally intensify in some places. The air temperature will be 1-6 C at night and 8-13 C in the daytime, with mountainous areas to see 1-6 C at night and 2-6 C in the daytime.

In addition, the weather in the country will be unstable, occasionally rainy with snow expected in mountainous regions and foothills from December 17 until December 19. Snow will be intensive in some parts. West wind will intensify occasionally in some places. The air temperature will drop 5-7 C compared to the previous days. The water level in the rivers is expected to rise.
