Strong wind will blow tomorrow - WARNING

Baku. 20 February. REPORT.AZ/ The weather forecast for tomorrow in Azerbaijan has been announced.

Report informs citing the National Hydrometeorological Department at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources that the weather in Baku and Absheron peninsula tomorrow will be changeable cloudy and mainly rainless. Light fog and drizzle are predicted in some places at night and in the morning.

Mild south-west wind will intensify in the daytime.

Air temperature will be +2 to +5 C at night, +8 to +11 C in the daytime, and +3 to +5 at night and +9 to +11 C in the daytime in Baku. Atmospheric pressure will drop from 767 to 763 mm mercury column, while relative humidity will reach 70-80% at night and 50-55% in the daytime.

The weather will be mainly rainless in Azerbaijani regions and fog will be observed in some places at night and in the morning. The west wind will blow, it will intensify at times mainly in the mountainous regions.

The air temperature will range from 0 to +5 C at night, +8 to +13 C in the daytime, while mountainous areas will see the temperatures at -2 to -7 degrees of frost at night, +4 to +8 C in the daytime. High mountainous areas will see temperatures at +12 to +17 degrees at night and 0 to +5 C in the afternoon

MENR warns that west wind will reach 20-25 m/s mainly in mountainous regions on February 21-22.
