Over 21,000 trees planted in Azerbaijan's forests in 1 day

More than 21,000 trees were planted in forest areas in one day in Azerbaijan with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, as well as employees of regional forestry centers, Report informs.
Large-scale reforestation activities were carried out across the country, with various types of trees grown in forestry center nurseries being planted, taking into account the climatic conditions of each region.
More than 21,000 seedlings of Eldar pine, oriental plane, ash, ironwood, oak, and linden trees were planted on a total area of 13 hectares in the Khachmaz, Shabran, Sabirabad, Barda, Shamakhi, Zagatala, Sheki, Gakh, Gabala, Masalli, Lankaran, Gazakh, Shamkir, Beylagan and Goygol districts.
