Over 15 seals found dead in Azerbaijani section of Caspian Sea

In connection with the mass seal deaths on the Dagestan coast of the Caspian Sea, large-scale monitoring was conducted by the employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources in the Azerbaijan section of the Caspian Sea, Head of the Biodiversity Protection Service of Azerbaijan Firuddin Aliyev told Report.
During monitoring, a total of 17 seals were found dead in the direction of the Istisu settlement, Tikanlioba, Seyidli, and Nabran villages in the Khachmaz district.
In order to investigate the cause of death of the seals, together with the experts of the Food Safety Agency, samples will be taken from the bodies, and the results will be reported.
