A new national park is being created in Azerbaijan's Khankandi, Shusha, Aghdara and Khojaly, the head of the working group on environmental issues, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Vugar Karimov said at a regular meeting of the Working Group on Environmental Issues, Report informs.
He noted that according to the information provided by the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in the city of Khankandi, Aghdara and Khojaly regions, the national park will cover an area of 100,000 hectares, and a map of the park has already been prepared.
"The map has been sent to the State Committee on Property Issues. The creation of the new park is planned by the end of this year," he added.
