More climate weeks will be organized in Azerbaijan in the coming years, COP29 President and Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan on Climate Issues, Mukhtar Babayev, said during Baku Climate Action Week (BCAW2025), as quoted by Report.
"In the coming years, new climate weeks will certainly be held in Azerbaijan. We have submitted proposals to the UN on organizing such events and support their implementation. Our country"s representatives will take part in them, while Baku Climate Week itself is a large-scale event," he said.
Babayev stressed the active involvement of parliament and other institutions in preparing and organizing such initiatives.
