Lightning, heavy rains predicted: strong wind will blow - WARNING

Baku. 17 August. REPORT.AZ/ National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources has issued warning about weather conditions.

Report was informed in the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, north-western wind will intensify on August 18 daytime and 19 in Baku and Absheron peninsula. Air temperature will gradually drop by 3-5 degrees compared to previous days.

From August 18 to August 20, starting from the northern regions of Azerbaijan the weather will be unstable in some regions of Azerbaijan, lightning and intermittent rain predicted in some places. Showers and hail predicted in some places. Western wind will blow and occasionally intensify in some places.

Air temperature will gradually drop by 3-5 degrees compared to previous days.

Water level in rivers will increase and short-term floods expected in some mountain rivers.
