Hot weather to persist in Azerbaijan next week

The hot weather conditions with no precipitation is expected to persist across the country for the first half of next week. Moderate northwestern wind may occasionally intensify.
Report has learnt from the National Hydrometeorology Service that the air temperature will peak at 38-40C, 42-44C in some places in lowlands, 30-33C in mountains, 33-38C in Baku and Absheron peninsula.
In the second half of the week, rains are possible mainly in northern and western regions on July 22-23. The air temperature will slightly drop to 34-39C in lowlands, 22-26C in mountains, and 30-33C in Baku and Absheron peninsula.
