Hot weather to persist for second decade of July

Hot weather will persist in Baku and the Absheron peninsula until the end of the second decade of July, with the maximum air temperature reaching 35-39C and 41C in some areas.
Report informs citing the National Hydrometeorological Service that the northwest wind will reach 15-18 m/s, and in some places, the wind gusts will reach 20-25 m/s.
The maximum air temperature in the Azerbaijani regions will reach 37-40C; in some places, it will be 42-44°C, and the mountainous areas will see it up at 30-33°C.
From the evening of July 17 to the evening of July 20, the west wind will reach 20-25 m/s in some places.
