High wind warning in Azerbaijan

From the evening of January 2 to the afternoon of January 3, the speed of the northwest wind in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will reach 15-20 m/s, sometimes intensify up to 23-25 ​​m/s, and on January 4, the speed of the southwest wind will be 15-20 m/s, sometimes hitting 23 m/s, National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan told Report.

In the regions of Azerbaijan, snow is expected from the evening of January 2 to the afternoon of January 3 and on January 4. Some districts might experience heavy snowfall. On January 2-4, the west wind will reach 15-20 m/s. In some districts, it will intensify to 23-28 m/s.
