Armenia continues to cause irreparable damage to Azerbaijan's ecology, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Fuad Najafli said at a scientific and practical conference dedicated to environmental violations that contribute to climate change, Report informs.
Najafli noted that the mining industry of Armenia has a negative impact on the ecology of Azerbaijan.
He added that as a result of Armenia's dumping of industrial waste into the Araz River and the Shir Arkhi Canal, hundreds of fish and migratory birds were killed.
