Deputy Minister: 'Restoration of liberated territories are priority for Azerbaijan'

"The restoration of the liberated territories is a priority for the country. Smart cities and villages are being actively built here," Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, Firdovsi Aliyev, said at the Azerbaijan National Urban Forum, Report informs.

According to him, the concept of a green economy will be followed during the restoration of these areas.

"In general, according to international estimates, 65% of the world's population will live in cities by 2050, so creating environmentally friendly cities is one of the priorities," the deputy minister said.
