Deputy Minister: 80% of air pollution caused by transportation vehicles

80% of air pollution in Azerbaijan is caused by vehicles, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Firdovsi Aliyev said at the National Urban Forum held in Baku.

According to him, state investments in the modernization of Baku's infrastructure have been significantly increased in recent years in order to improve the environmental situation:

"The work of the Intelligent Transport Management Center has been improved, and conditions have been created for using electric and hybrid vehicles."
