Baku hosting 2nd Meteorological Forum of Turkic World

Baku is hosting the 2nd Meteorological Forum of the Turkic World with the steering support of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Report informs.

Ministers of environment and climate change of the Turkic states, heads of hydrometeorological services, representatives of state agencies and experts are taking part in the event.

The purpose of the forum is to conduct coordinated activities in the field of climate change and expand the exchange of experience on the establishment of an early warning system for extreme weather conditions.

The forum held within the framework of the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev is supported by the United Nations Development Program.
