Azerbaijan to start using color-coded weather alerts

A new, color-coded weather alert system will be used in Azerbaijan, Report informs referring to the National Hydrometeorological Service.
In particular, citizens will receive notifications about expected dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena in three colors - yellow, orange and red.
A yellow warning will mean there may be minor injury risks in some areas.
An orange warning indicates a high risk to public safety, neighborhoods, and property, and it is mandatory to follow the recommendations for this alert.
If a weather warning is issued in red, it will indicate a very high, extreme risk to public safety, residential areas and property. Notifications with this color will be used during severe storms, storms, and hurricanes.
