Azerbaijan to hold World Environment Day

World Environment Day will be held in Azerbaijan, Inger Andersen, the UN Deputy Secretary General, Executive Director of the UN Environment Program (UNEP), said as she was received by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Report informs.
According to her, World Environment Day, one of the most important environmental events globally, will be held in Azerbaijan under the auspices of UNEP on June 5, 2026.
