Azerbaijan starts restoration of fire-stricken forests

Restoration of forests affected by fires has begun in Azerbaijan, Vahid Farzaliyev, head of the department of the Forest Development Service, said at the Expert Hour.

Report quotes him as saying the maps of the territories have been prepared, the territories affected by the fires have been cleared of debris, and reforestation work has begun.

Farzaliyev noted that more than 700,000 trees were planted in the territory of forest fund in spring.
