Azerbaijan represented at UN Ocean Conference in Nice

Azerbaijan has joined global efforts at the Third United Nations Ocean Conference, which officially opened in Nice, France, on June 9.
According to Report, Azerbaijan is represented at the conference by its ambassador to France, Leyla Abdullayeva. In a post on her social media account on X (formerly Twitter), Abdullayeva emphasized the significance of the event:
"Honored and humbled to represent Azerbaijan at the 2025 UN Ocean Conference co-hosted by France and Costa Rica.
It’s now high time to accelerate action and mobilize all actors to conserve and sustainably use the ocean!" Abdullayeva said in a post on X.
The conference runs through June 13.
