Azerbaijan, Japan sign MoU on cooperation in field of environment

Kentaro Hosomi, Chief Regional Officer of Mitsubishi, Japan, and Junichi Wada, Ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan, met with Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev.
The sides exchanged views on environmental protection, reduction of carbon emissions, and other issues of mutual interest and discussed prospects for future cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the side signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the field of environment.
