Azerbaijan has over 1,100 mineral deposits

There are more than 1,100 mineral deposits in Azerbaijan, Head of the National Geological Exploration Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Ali Aliyev said, Report informs.

He noted that these include about 1,000 non-metallic deposits, 114 deposits of underground thermal, drinking water: “Each period has its own requirements for exploration. Exploration work uses new technologies and innovations.”
