Azerbaijan and Latvia mull expanding cooperation in environmental protection

A meeting was held in Baku between the delegation led by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Latvia, Armands Krauze, and the First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, Rashad Ismayilov, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani ministry.

During the meeting, issues related to the holding of the next meeting of the Azerbaijan-Latvia Intergovernmental Commission in the fall of this year were discussed. At the same time, views were exchanged on expanding joint cooperation in the field of environmental protection and forestry.
