ADB holding event to achieve goals of reducing impact of climate change

An event is being held on the bank's contribution to climate change mitigation and the achievement of adaptation goals at the 57th annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Report's correspondent dispatched to Tbilisi informs.

The session will focus the environmental and social benefits of using sustainable procurement in ADB operations to help ADB members align their systems with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The bank seeks to implement sustainable procurement and use a portfolio monitoring system to track progress towards ADB's climate change mitigation and adaptation goals.
