Actual weather in Azerbaijan revealed

As of 11 a.m. (GMT+4) on January 28, precipitation, sleet and snow are observed in Azerbaijan, the National Hydrometeorological Service told Report.

In Baku and on the Absheron peninsula, the speed of the northwest wind sometimes reached 20 m/s.

The amount of precipitation is 9 mm in Salyan, Saribash (Gakh), Shahbuz - 11 mm, Sabirabad, Jafarkhan - 4 mm, Lerik, Kishchay (Sheki), Ordubad, Agdara (Ordubad) - 3 mm, Nakhchivan, Dashkasan, Goygol, Gobustan, Gusar, Imishli, Shamakhi, Ismayilli, Agsu, Shabran - 1 mm, Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula: in Bina - 4 mm, Pirallahi - 3 mm, Baku, Mashtaga - 1 mm.

The height of the snow cover in Agdara (Ordubad) is 41 cm, in Saribash (Gakh) - 29 cm, in Shahbuz - 15 cm, in Griz - 13 cm, in Lerik - 7 cm, in Nakhchivan - 6 cm, in Kishchay (Sheki) - 5 cm, in Khaltan - 4 cm, in Shamakhi - 2 cm, in Dashkasan - 1 cm.
